Appreciation is my New Resolution

My New Year Resolution is to Appreciate Someone or Something Everyday!

After I read this I thought I have to do more to tell people that I am not like this Blind Girl, but maybe some little parts of me are without meaning to be and I am sorry about that. So I thought how can I fix myself, then I came up with my Resolution. Read on and I am sure you will understand. Blind Girl There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.' One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her,' Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She had not expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him. Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear; for before they were yours, they were mine.' This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what life was like before! And who was always by their side in the most painful situations. Life Is a Gift. We should Appericiate it. Today before you say an unkind word -Think of someone who cannot speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who is crying out to GOD for a companion. Today, before you complain about life, think of someone who is dead. Before you complain about your children, think of someone who desires children but they are barren. Before you argue about your dirty house someone, did not clean or sweep -Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance, you drive. Think of someone who walks the same distance with his or her feet! When you are tired and complain about your job -Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job. However, before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another, remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one MAKER. By: Shaun Classen
I know it is always these things are all easier and said then done. However, we have to try; I do not know how many marriages are broken, because of a complaining un- appreciative spouse. I believe when you are complaining you are not appreciating. They are like oil and water. If you appreciate what you, have to be happy. More is not better in so many cases, but a little more Appreciation can go a long way. We are born with nothing and we leave with nothing. However, love and knowledge, we are born from love and knowledge. I believe we are Spiritual Beings having a Haman Experience, so we should try to make this the best we can. I believe in, Hate the sin, and Love the Sinner. Remember we are all Sinners. Remember that saying to sin is Human, but to forgive is Devine! The Bible says, we should forgive 7x77= 539, but I think that would be very hard to keep track of and a silly thing to focus on, it would be nothing but a waist of time. I know I have not appreciated enough in my life so I think I will to try to do better. I am going to find something to appreciate everyday! Today I appreciate you reading this. May God Bless You! My Warmest Regards JackieO (aka: Jacquelain)

JackieO Says Your

JackieO's Thoughts on Hope and Appreciation

I use to believe in hope, like you won't believe.
I was so fooled by hope, I even though appreciation worked along with hope.
My Dream is too hear on the news there is "That there is "Peace All Over The World". That there is no more hating, fighting, and ill will. That forgiveness has really taken hold. That here is no more hunger and that everyone is happy, caring, giving and sharing. And that everyone know what "Appreciation is and uses it the best they can"!
I guess I am talking and dreaming about Heaven.
Heaven on earth would be wonderful, I will keep dreaming and
holding onto hope. And Appreciate whatever I get...

What am I?

I am a hard working Woman, who has travelled a lot,
and lived in many places, but never felt at home.
I am Woman who has been many things too many People, but feels “Alone“!
I am a Daughter, a Niece, a Sister, a Wife, a Mother, a Cousin, a Student, a Co-Worker, a Friend, a Boss, an Entrepreneur. But some times I feel like a no one. I am Christian, and a Sinner; But most of “All” I am me, no matter what you want to call me!
I have learned in this life is that we are not all bad, and we are not all good.
Rich or Poor, Black or White or Whatever... What we are Human Beings. “ Looking for our “Place in Life”!
I believe we are “Spiritual Being having a Human Experience. So there is nothing to fret about...We Are “Survivors”. I believe we can over come the bad, weather it be our own or others, and maybe even learn from it. I Pray we do, someday soon.
I believe we will “Make and find Peace Together “.
We have to be there for each other to try and help one another.
So that is What I am trying to do...I hope you are too…
